Caribou is the common name for North American subspecies of reindeer. Exceptionally thick fur with a long mane around the neck protects the animal against frost. The skin of the caribou is in grey, black and brown. Each caribou has a different, unique hue of the fur.
In contrast to the reindeer, caribou hair is not filled with air so it is not brittle and has a high resistance to use. Can be used as a decoration on the bed, against the wall, next to the fireplace or on the floor.
Caribou skins are available during the summer.
